Orange is the colour/theme of the 2009 Yoga Festival… The second Chakra!

Each year has a specific energy and 2009 is a year where we will be challenged to lead with an intense power of superior emotions.

In the Yoga Festival weekend we will be under the influence of the summer solstice.

This time of the year is an excellent occasion to cleanse subconscious emotions and that way allow coming up our most powerful emotions.

The emotions come, just like passion, in waves through our body and our mind. Some of these waves are just memories, other are imperative and overwhelming demands. All of these are essential to live in full when we let ourselves flow with them, taking advantage of its energy to go on and fight against the tide.

2009 is a year of water tattva, element of emotions.

The water element rules the Second Chakra, the source for creativity, cultivating the sensations and the capacity of being really true with ourselves and with the others.

The energy of 2009 will help to overcome ourselves through the direct employment of the Negative Mind learning to positively manage it. The Negative Mind is the intuitive part that makes us check, at each step, that is safe to go on, each one in his/hers personal path.
